Having been born in France and moving to the United States with my French born father and American mother, I always knew where I came from. My parents usually communicated in French and I remember loving the sound of the language as a little girl. I suppose this was the beginning of my French food journey. But it wasn’t until my grandfather passed away and I inherited all of his baking tools, equipment, stand up Kitchen Aide mixer and first edition Julia Child cookbooks that I realized this was for me. I explored and made many of Julia’s recipes and delved into my French heritage with my three sons and husband. This was done through traveling back to France, refreshing my understanding of the language, and of course, lots and lots of tastings! This exploration has taken me on a journey of the French culinary world of taste, textures and smells. I look forward to sharing these experiences with each of you.

Bon appetit mes amis.
